MY FAVOURITE ETSY SHOPS

As a long time Etsy user, I thought it was about time I wrote about the site here on Swatches. For those of you who have been living under a rock, Etsy is an online site where people from the public can set up their own shops and sell their own creations (think Ebay but more creative/Pinterest-worthy). It's the perfect place for finding one of a kind pieces and other creative bits that you might not be able to find in the highstreet. I thought the best way to share my love for Etsy with you guys would be to give you a list of my favourite shops and sellers. So here it is!

Plant and Colour
Top pick: dino planter - £13.09
Irene does a wide variety of terrariums as well as some incredible animal-shaped planters for mini air plants. These are absolutely gorgeous and  would make amazing gifts (I'm especially eyeing up the elephant one for my mum's birthday).

Geofleur
Top pick: copper tealight holder - £6.50
When you read the names of the listings on this seller's page, it's pretty obvious why I like this shop. Their listings are filled with buzzwords like "cactus", "copper", "macrame", "geometric" and "concrete" - this shop has a varied selection of really on trend, but still unique, pieces that are actually a very very reasonable price. They do everything from necklaces, to terrariums, to candles.

Zana
Top pick: electric tea towel - £9.14
Robyn and Sue's shop is filled to the brim with a huge array of printed textile products from tea towels, to laptop cases, to cushion covers. With such a huge range of designs, you won't struggle to find one that you love.

Alexia Claire
Top pick: blogging planner - £15.60
Based here in Leeds, Alexia makes all sorts of planning equipment for every possible job/situation you are in. With everything from a basic daily planner, to a pack of everything you need as a wedding planner, it means you'll never be unorganised ever again. What?? A girl can dream.

Inspirational Gecko
Top pick: lemon corner bookmark - £6.05
This shop has to be the most adorable of the bunch. Based in Italy, this shop is filled with little felt bookmarks, keyrings and decorations in all sorts of cute and fun shapes and designs. A perfect gift shop!

WYWH Cards
Top pick: Ron Swanson card - £2.25
This card shop is perfect for finding unique and well designed affordable cards. These days, for a well put together card, you're looking at paying around £3, which makes these a great alternative. There's a card for everyone with designs ranging from troll dolls, to donuts, to (my personal favourite) illustrations of Ron Swanson with a party hat on.

So that's it - now go forth and spend your pennies!
